Alison Mackenzie focuses her practice on complex civil litigation, with a particular emphasis on entertainment and intellectual property disputes, complex environmental matters, and legal malpractice claims. Ms. Mackenzie has frequently obtained dismissals or summary judgment on behalf of her clients and has successfully defended those results on appeal. In addition to her work in complex civil litigation, Ms. Mackenzie also handles a variety of white collar criminal defense matters.
Ms. Mackenzie maintains an active pro bono practice, where she focuses on children’s rights matters and immigration cases, including representing clients seeking asylum in immigration court.
Ms. Mackenzie also had the opportunity to join the Trial Advocacy Project (TAP) at the City Attorney’s office, where she tried four jury trials over the course of six weeks.
Before joining Caldwell Leslie & Proctor, Ms. Mackenzie completed a clerkship with the Honorable Dean D. Pregerson, U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
