Andrew Esbenshade creatively and efficiently navigates the waters of complex civil litigation, resulting in successful results for his clients as both defendants and plaintiffs. He has developed an expertise in class action matters, particularly on behalf of victims of investment fraud and related matters, achieving significant recoveries for his clients.
Mr. Esbenshade has also developed a growing banking and mortgage litigation practice, as well as a focus in copyright matters for studio clients. He is an instrumental figure in the firm’s white collar criminal defense practice, including conducting internal investigations.
Mr. Esbenshade has worked extensively on appellate matters and has argued numerous cases before the California Court of Appeal and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He also oversees the firm’s pro bono practice, and, with the firm, received Inner City Law Center’s Humanitarian Award in 2014 for work on slum housing matters.
