Eli Alcaraz joined Caldwell Leslie & Proctor in 2016 after serving as a law clerk to the Honorable Andrew J. Guilford, United States District Judge for the Central District of California. Previously, Mr. Alcaraz worked as a litigation associate in the Los Angeles office of Jones Day and served as a law clerk to the Honorable Arthur L. Alarcón, Circuit Judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Mr. Alcaraz received a J.D. from the UCLA School of Law, where he served both on the UCLA Law Review board and on the Moot Court Honors Program board. During law school, Mr. Alcaraz was selected to be a member of the UCLA Moot Court Honors Program, was a finalist in the Jones Day 1L Moot Court Competition, and volunteered with the Violence Against Women Act Clinic. Mr. Alcaraz was a four-year competitor for Stanford University’s NCAA Division 1 Men’s Gymnastics Team and earned NCAA Academic All-American honors three times.
