"If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader."
-John Q. Adams

Lennette Lee joined Caldwell Leslie in October 2008 after completing a clerkship with the Honorable John T. Nixon, United States District Judge for the Middle District of Tennessee. Prior to her clerkship, Ms. Lee was a litigation associate at the law firm of Baker Botts L.L.P. in the firm's Houston office, where she represented a number of Fortune 500 companies in contract, employment, and class action disputes, and obtained summary judgment for a former CEO of a major asset management company in a mutual fund fraud lawsuit brought by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Ms. Lee graduated from the University of Chicago Law School in 2005, where she participated in the Macarthur Justice Center's legal clinic and served on the Law Students Association. Prior to law school, Ms. Lee worked as a business consultant for Accenture.

Ms. Lee's practice at Caldwell Leslie focuses on commercial litigation in state and federal courts. She has successfully represented a broad range of clients, most recently obtaining a default judgment for more than $45 million on behalf of an international distributor of film and television. Ms. Lee also worked with David Willingham and Jeanne Fugate to secure nearly $1 million in settlement within one week of being retained as counsel by a company exposed to employee embezzlement. Ms. Lee also dedicates time to various pro bono matters, recently collaborating with David Codell and Albert Giang to obtain relief in the form of back pay for a federal judicial employee after his application to include his same sex spouse as a beneficiary of federal health insurance was denied based on the Defense of Marriage Act.
